Welcome to GELKA LTD.'s website. Our company was founded in 1960 .

History:
Gelka was founded based on a resolution by Forge and Inudstrial Economic Committee in the Kádár Era.They gave the task(as a national company) of repairing electronic items on and without warranty, instead of the predecessor Ravel(Radio Reception Technology Company), or other random service centers.After the foundation, GELKA was growing fast ,by the time we reached the 60's and 70's GELKA was already fixing four-fifths of the country's repair needs.In the early 80's GELKA was emplying more than 8 thousand peopleon over 350 sites,it's qualified services were all over the country.One of it's kind even in Europe, it could operate it's own dispatcher center(333-333).
In 1983 Gelka services turned into small companies under 80 Council Supervision, smaller part of the company still operated under the GELKA name.
After 1990 they tried to turn it into a share company so they could privatize it, but this wasn't successful.

  GELKA Electro Manufacturer and Commercial Ltd. specialized on manufacturing passenger informatics,audiovisual,telecommunication devices for public transport vehicles.Our main products and scope of activities.

-Manufacturing on-board computers(BBOX)
-Developing and manifacturing Speakers
-Developing and manifacturing shunting and warning signals.
-Developing and manufacturing receivers.
-Developing and manufacturing industrial microphones. (The well known GELKA Microphone)
-Developing and Manufacturing electronic and mechanic ticket validators.

 In the past 60 years, more than 300,000 vehicles use GELKA products all over the world. We are constantly developing our products. GELKA products even nowadays represent quality and matured technology solutions.We support our partners with our multiple decade manufacturer experience.From designing to manufacturing!
